Death’s caused by blood clotting is increasing day by day. To talk about Turkey, 40% of deaths are caused by heart attacks each year, which can be put in number as 151,696 people. Our idea is to create a device to prevent clotting in vessels and problems caused by that. Goal for this device is to be put inside the body and after measuring the factor levels about blood clotting, giving a blood thinner to body to do its job.

Even though there are manual emergency actions that can be used on the patient like CPR , the success rate is not high enough. According to statistics , 75% of the heart attack victims survive first aid CPR and 33% of survivors experience brain damage. This implies 50% of the time , there is a loss because of heart attack. In a situation of heart attack patients should be getting first aid treatments within the first 5-10 minutes, but as can be seen from the statistics this is a real difficult thing to apply because there are disturbances involved like panic caused by the event.

SOLUTIONS

Basically our aim is to save lifes by early interference about Myocardial Infarction (MI).What we have come up with as a solution is to reduce the size of two machines which measures two active proteins.It takes too much time and material to measure these two proteins in the blood because these machines are single but number of patients multiplex.By minimizing the sizes of these machines and making them personal like our smart phones,pc’s and etc. people will be able to do these measurements on their on while they are living their daily life ordinarily.
